dave-tipsUnfortnately, not every partner we dance with is light and well connected.  Sometimes we dance with others who pull a little or are a little out of control.  To save yourself remember that you are responsible for your own body and balance.  Never let anyone else knock you off your center, and protect yourself from the ole "yank and crank". How to do this? Here are some simple ideas: 1) relax and don't be stiff,  2) leave a little slack in your arm that can act as a buffer, 3) drop connection, reset and reconnect.  Give these a try!
