Maybe...  It's fun to share experiences and information with your friends, but when you want to learn to do something well, wouldn't you rather learn from an expert?

A professional dance instructor has had years of experience in dance, often in many different dance forms.  The mark of a good dance teacher is not only knowing how to dance well, but how to express that knowledge in terms a student can understand.  Most dancers aren't great teachers simply because they don't have all the information and experience of a trained dancer.  So, get started on the right foot and take a lesson from a your friendly neighborhood dance teacher.
